VLF Long Range Lightning Detection in Australia

Using our network of sferic sensors we are producing regular maps of lightning activity in Australia, as shown below (rings are lightning activity, red stars are lightning sensor locations). The second image (below the map) indicates the parameters used to determine the mapping ranges in space and time.
